  Abstract

Recently, facial image synthesis technology has been actively applied in industries such as beauty and fashion. In particular, the increasing demand for personalized image generation has underscored the need for more sophisticated and natural synthesis techniques. However, existing commercial technologies often rely on predefined settings, limiting their ability to accommodate diverse user preferences. To address these limitations and offer users a wider range of customization options, this study proposes a hairstyle and color synthesis system. Specifically, a convolutional neural network is employed to naturally synthesize user-selected hairstyles, while accurate face parsing techniques are used to recognize and segment facial structures, enabling the seamless integration of the chosen hair color with the original image. Experimental results show that the proposed system achieves realistic synthesis without noticeable artifacts when compared to the original images. Furthermore, user evaluations yielded over 94% positive feedback, confirming the system's effectiveness.
