  Abstract

Generally the quantitative and qualitative knowledges are used to describe the spatial information between objects in 2-dimensional space. In this study, we consider the combin of two knowledges for complementing each disadvantages and suggest a method of maintaining a locational relation when a moving object is rotated or moved to another place between n static-objects. Also, we suggest a algorithm of modifying the relations when new locational relation is inserted into the network that represent the spatial knowledges of the static objects. Then in order to apply our result, we have constructed a system which provide the locational informations between buildings and a moving car.
